About the Project

The Learn to Play for the Future project aims to increase student engagement in schools by introducing innovations in educational game development and gamification. The project aims to create multidisciplinary collaborations between universities and sectors focused on digital game development and education. The project focuses on increasing the number of university students and graduates with practical skills in educational game development and gamification.

Our mission is to revolutionize education by integrating the power of game-based learning and gamification into the classroom. By bringing together experts from higher education, game development, and pedagogy, we aim to inspire innovation, creativity, and motivation in students across Europe.

Objectives of the project

The main objective of the project is to increase students‘ engagement in the learning process through innovative methods such as the creation of educational games and their use in school practice. The specific objectives of the project include:

Education

Develop university courses that empower future teachers and game developers with skills in educational game creation and game-based learning.

Innovation

Build an international community of educators and game developers united by a shared passion for innovative learning.

Usability

Create the „Edu Game Maker Toolbox,“ a unique resource enabling educators to design and implement their own educational games as well as games ready to be used in education system.

Research

Conduct cutting-edge research on the effectiveness of educational games in diverse learning environments.

Together with our partners from Slovakia, Poland, and Finland, we’re bridging the gap between education and technology, fostering inclusion, and inspiring students to learn through creativity and play.
