We take account of students’ and teachers‘ needs and expectations.
In the Learn2Play4Future project we focus on implementing courses for future teachers and game developers. We aim to teach them to create educational games. We wish to make our courses as effective as possible. That is why, before their launch, we carry out research into the needs of teachers and game developers as well as the current state analysis.
What does that mean?
We have been creating the methodology that will help us better understand the areas of game-based learning within which students of pedagogy and game design need further training. The methodology also focuses on the ways of getting inspiration from well-operating courses aiming at training within the field of educational games.
The research is to continue in the first half of 2025 and based on its results we will create syllabi of courses for university students that will be available for everybody.
What methods are we going to use?
· Data collection: Using questionnaires, focus groups, observations and pre-tests/post-tests.
· Analysis: Quantitative and qualitative approaches to analysing the existing subjects aimed at game-based learning.
